Amendment to Teams in Division 1

The AEF is committed to creating opportunity for teams to be competitive in the OCE scene in a sustainable way. This means that we must always consider if a team has earned their place or can fulfill their commitment to play at a high level.

It is with this that we have decided to remove ‘TeamNope’ from Division 1 and replace their slot with the 3rd place from the Playoff bracket, ‘The Last Spartans’. This decision was made because TeamNope did not have enough players to commit to playing in this season of AEF.
Whilst we are sad that a team that played very well during the Qualifiers will not be playing in Division 1, TLS, known also as ‘Templar Esports’, have proven themselves worthy of this promotion.

As a part of the AEF commitment to the OCE scene, we have set up an Opt-in database of players and teams that are either looking for a team or looking to trial a player in their team. If you wish to be placed in this database, contact the AEF with your IGN, prefered contact details and position/position you are looking for.

We would also like to use this opportunity to remind team captains and players that they must have their full lineups confirmed by the 10th of January, 2017 in order to be allowed to play.
